Congratulations to Anne Gripton who is the inaugural recipient of the HTAA – Gandel Holocaust Studies Scholarship funded by the Solomear Gruener Endowment Fund.
The Gandel Holocaust Studies Program for Australian Educators is an 18 day seminar run by Yad Vashem in Jerusalem. The program is designed to enable educators to learn more about the Holocaust and encourage them to develop curriculum programs to share with colleagues in Australia.
The scholarship is awarded to a member of a HTA affiliate teaching History in a secondary school.
Anne Gripton is an experienced teacher and an active member of HTANSW. She contributes regularly to their journal and generously shares her research with her colleagues.
